Mu Kappa Phi was founded on April 18, 2004 under the leadership and guidance of seven young high school musicians:

These Music leaders combined there thoughts and ideas to form a strong machine that would serve its schools and communities, and "Spread the Love of Music" to all of those who were willing to accept it.

They combined their many unique ways and traditions to form the body of Mu Kappa Phi, Music Organization. The seven continued to meet occasionally. They came up with many new ideas and ways of governing the organization. The seven came up with the nickname Double Deuces, which represented something only members would have the privelege to understand. As the seven continued to meet, the organizations foundation began to expand, and the beginning of Musical Eternity was underway.

Mu Kappa Phi, Music Organization found its first home in Mobile, Alabama. The organization has now Spread the Love of Music in othe cities of Alabama,Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee. Mu Kappa Phi, is the first high school Music Organization to be established in Mobile, Al. and also the first Junior Greek organizaiton to combine the many other organzations as one, all working for the "Love of Music"
